The Bonspiel took place from 15 – 17 March 2024 at the Gage Golf and Curling Club. It included thirty-two teams participated in this year’s competition, divided amongst four divisions.
1st place – $100 in Superstore gift card per person,
2nd place – $75 in Home Depot gift card per person,
3rd place – $50 credit card gift card per person, and
4th place – $25 Tim Horton’s gift card per person.
Winning teams for each tier level:
- A – Division Winner: Team Bateman – Ron Bateman, Tony Perrin, and Claude Paulin
- B – Division Winner: The Ringer’s – Marc Parent, Craig Berthiaume, Rodney Purchase, and Kyle Spindler
- C – Division Winner: Broom Cup Brawler – Rylan Howes, Tommy Inderjeit, Tyler Trecartin, and David Oag
- D – Division Winner: Hard Rock – Trevor Sussey, Matt Mabey, Sebastien Massicotte, and Constantin Hemel
Events such as these are one of many within the Canadian Armed Forces that foster team sprit, friendly competition, esprit de corps, and a healthy lifestyle.
