Base Gagetown hosted a flu and COVID vaccination clinic from November 7 to 9, 2023, at Building H-12, open from 1200 to 1500 hours. Base commander Colonel Marc Parent, and Formation Sergeant Major, Chief Warrant Officer Michael Hawthorn, both received their vaccines on the first day to promote health readiness among military personnel. The 42 Canadian Forces Health Services Centre provides the vaccines free of charge, encouraging military members to maintain and promote their own health and state of readiness.
