Numerous local organizations dedicated to supporting military members and their families impacted by disabilities were present at the Defence Advisory Group for Persons with Disabilities (DAGPWD) Expo on 24 May 2024. The DAGPWD is dedicated to ensuring members are informed of the resources available to enhance quality of life, promote independence, and foster a strong and supportive network for the soldiers and their families. Should members have questions, or require support finding these resources, they are encouraged to reach out to the DAGPWDGagetown@forces.gc.ca and the DAGPWD will ensure they’re linked in with the appropriate organizations.
