Lt Gamblin, originally from Fredericton, is a Canadian Army Reservist who, while working at the 5th Canadian Division Support Group’s Personnel Services Branch, jumped at the opportunity to deploy to Kuwait for six months!

For six-months, Lt Gamblin will be working at the Ali AL Salem Air Base as part of OP IMPACT Roto 6. As a Logistics Officer, Lt Gamblin is working in the role of Contract Officer.

“My section is the Contracts Management Cell which falls under the larger Operational Support Hub of Southwest Asia. I write and manage contracts within the Joint Operating Area, mainly for Jordan, Lebanon and Kuwait. The contracts range from procuring toner cartridges for printers to vehicle rentals, internet services, hotel services, lease agreements, bus services, building material, etc. ” Lt Gamblin says.

Upon Lt Gamblin’s return to New Brunswick, she will continue to work at Base Gagetown with Pers Services on a three-year full-time contract.
