MINDS Expert Briefing Series: Panel Discussion on Indigenous Forces
As part of Indigenous Awareness Week 2021, the Mobilizing Insights in Defence and Security (MINDS) program is excited to invite the Defence Team to a panel discussion on indigeneity within the DND/CAF. MINDS is honoured to host a discussion with CAF leaders and mentors helping to shape Indigenous membership and relations in the DND/CAF.
This panel discussion will explore:
- Indigenous identity, inclusion, and community in the CAF;
- The role of Indigenous advisors;
- The integration of tradition in CAF activities and programs; and
- DND/CAF relations with Indigenous and non-Indigenous communities.
