Moose Hide pins will be available for pick-up within 5th Canadian Division Support Base (5 CDSB) Gagetown at kiosks located at the base mess, building J7, and the base gym from April 15, 2024 to May 16, 2024, in support of the Moose Hide Campaign.

The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement to engage men and boys in ending violence towards women and children. It was originally an Indigenous movement founded in British Colombia and has since grown throughout Canada. The moose hide pin is a symbol against the violence and undoing the effects of residential schools.

The Defence Indigenous Advisory Group invites you to give donations at the various kiosks on base and join us on May 16, 2024, for activities in support of the Moose Hide Campaign. 5 CDSB Gagetown is committed to defending the respect and dignity of all peoples and supports such campaigns that promote a more inclusive and safe Canadian society.
