Private (Pte) Corey McMillan, Pte Raldjeet Maslog, and Master Corporal Maxime Pelletier from 5th Canadian Division Support Group (5 CDSG) Signal Squadron (Team 7) won the annual Royal Canadian Corps of Signals (RCCS) Bonspeil at the Gage Golf and Curling Club on February 23rd, 2024.

This year, eight teams made up of three to four individuals each, competed in a basic knockout-format curling tournament. First-, second-, and third-placed teams received miniature 3-D printed curling stone with a gold, silver, and bronze finish, respectively. The prizes were made courtesy of Lieutenant Audrey Hamel.

Originally called the Communications and Electronics (C&E) Branch Curling Bonspiel, competition has been an annual event since 1975, where the C&E Branch has gathered members from across the Canadian Armed Forces to the Home Station for a day of Curling and camaraderie.

This long-running bonspiel is one of many events within the Canadian Armed Forces that promote a healthy lifestyle, friendly competition, and the esprit de corps.
