The Prime Minister of Canada, The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, and Minister of National Defence, The Honourable Anita Anand, visited 5th Canadian Division Support Base Gagetown on the 8th of November, 2022. They were accompanied by the Minister of Veterans Affairs (The Honourable Lawrence MacAulay), and the Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs (The Honourable Dominic LeBlanc). They had an opportunity to engage with local leadership, including Member of Parliament for Fredericton Jenica Atwin, veterans, serving members, and Commander 5th Canadian Division, Brigadier-General Stéphane Masson. Also present were Commander 5th Canadian Division Support Group, Colonel Marc Parent, and the Commander of the Combat Training Centre, Colonel Shane Murphy.
